Ways to recognize Jesus.

1. Signs and wonders

2 Thessalonians 2:9 - Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

Yes Satan and his followers can do signs and lying wonders, but Jesus works miracles. Jesus's wonder's 

will match what he is saying. Jesus works miracles. When He comes there will be no question because he will tell you to repent when he comes, he will not stop at the miracles, but he will he will come with the full truth for He is the full truth.

2. Your own heart. 

2:13

5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

James 4:8 KJV

Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

Galatians

5:22-23

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Colossians 3:23-24

23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

Are you following the fruit of the spirit? Do when you do good works are you doing it to serve the LORD? Are you stating glory be to Jesus? Are you being patient with your brothers and sisters in Christ like you are with yourself and your sins and your secret sins? 

3. Believe how Jesus travels.

Matthew 24:27

27For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

If Jesus came and you asked Him where did you come from, and He stated the East would you believe Him?
