Enlightment on Matthew 7:22-24

Matthew 7:22-24

 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

The reason why those people will go to the Lake of fire is because they are trusting in the knowledge of God. They believe in some form of the LORD, but they do not believe in Him in spirit and in truth. They are doing good works in his name, but they are not trusting Him as he is the one that did all the work already. They prophecy (or at least claim to) and give credit to LORD. They cast out demons (or at least claim to and give credit to the LORD). The problem is they're placing their trust in their works in the name of the LORD.

How people are saved.

John 6:39-40

39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

⁴⁰ And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

One must believe in Jesus in spirit and in truth, through faith in Him, He will lift you up. Many can prophecy, but in their heart they believe all they're good things they're doing  in the name of the LORD will save them, but in reality it is Jesus who saves them should they place their trust in Him.

Trust Jesus and go to Heaven through the Following.

With faith in Him, it will produce good fruit.

Believe Jesus died and shed His blood for you on the Cross of Calvary. 

Believe Jesus rose again 3 days later.

Believe Jesus is the son of God.

Believe Jesus is God.
