A Teaching 12: Under The Subtlety: Pt. 3

Under The Subtlety. Pt. 3

It's a term I made as unto the LORD. It's a term for people who do not believe in Jesus is Spirit and In Truth or are deceived about something in general.

2 Corinthians 11:3

But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Daniel 12:4

But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

1 Timothy 4:1

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

1 Timothy 4:1 mentions people departing from the faith, however it is possible to under a seducing spirit without departing from the faith.

Examples of being under the subtlety. If you cannot tell what is wrong with the following examples, you're under the subtlety.

- Someone says "I believe in a higher power."
- Someone stays at a certain location because it is a good way to provide.
- Someone says no to homosexuality in order to better their society.
- Someone votes for a specific political party because it supports their values.
- Someone goes to church in order to be a good person.
- Someone is thankful for that they're doing.
- Someone gives their best at their job in order to do the right thing.
- Someone prays, "Heavenly Father, thank you for sending your son Jesus to die for my sins so that we may create a better society. In Jesus Christ name. Amen."
